The Stars of Hollywood Forever by Tony Scott - Here is a book for sale but not through Amazon.com. This is from Tony Scott, who has written a book about Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood, CA. Tony has spent many hours hunting and researching this book. You can order it through his website. Check it out!

Here are some good books on the subject of Cemetery Hunting and Hollywood History:

Celebrity Death Certificates by M.F.Steen - An excellent resource book. This definately comes in handy when you need to find out dates, ages, locations, etc. This is a "must add" to you library.

Hollywood Book of Death by James R. Parrish - A terrific book with tons of information on celebrity death.

Hollywood Remains to Be Seen by Mark Masek- Another really excellent resource book. Mr. Masek has painstakingly detailed information on celebrity graves. A definate "must add" to your library.

Resting Places by Scott Wilson

Celebrities in Los Angeles Cemeteries by Allan R. Ellenberger

Project Remember by Arthur Koykka

These three books are also excellent resource books that you will use time and again. Project Remember is almost twenty years old, yet is still a very reliable resource book. I highly recommend that you pick up all three books. Believe me, you will use them repeatedly.

Out of Print Books

The following books are out of print. You can look for them on Amazon but you will probably have better luck finding them on Bookfinder.com, a used book website.

Final Curtain by Margaret Burke and Gary Hudson, 1996- Good book. Has a lot of interesting tidbits and some sites not in the other books.

They Went That-A-Way by Malcom Forbes

Permanent Californians by Judi Culbertson and Tom Randall, 1989 - This is a good book.. The book can get a little confusing, though, on some cemeteries, especially Forest Lawn, Glendale. Very easy to read and very interesting.

Hollywood Heartbreak: The Tragic and Mysterious Deaths of Hollywood's Most remarkable Legends by Laurie Jacobson
